Charity Wood is a professional artist working in both traditional and digital media. Born and raised in Orange County, California she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from California State University of Fullerton with a full triple emphasis (drawing/painting, illustration, & traditional animation).

After graduating from CSUF she worked in the film & animation industry in Burbank, CA creating concept art, color keys, storyboards, digital matte paintings, illustrations and compositing film. Charity is the co-owner / founder of a pop-culture poster company named Bye Bye, Robot.  At BBR, she created licensed artwork for Star Trek, Star Wars, & Disney. Charity & BBR worked closely with 15+ artists around the globe to design, print, and sell high quality pop-culture posters and fine art prints.

Outside of Bye Bye, Robot, Charity works as an artist in the ever growing Austin, TX video game industry. During her tenure as a video game artist she has been fortunate to count concept art, color keys, illustration, tech art and animation among her credits. Currently she is an Art Lead/Manager of a team of 8 artists for IGT/Everi, in the digital online casino industry.

Throughout her industry career she has maintained a constant flow of traditional oil portraits and contemporary artwork for her many private clients and collectors. She has held several individual shows and participated in numerous group exhibitions. Her distinctive “Pas de Lignes” style stands out, and her paintings are often found in Austin area shops and boutiques.
